I am running for School Board because I believe every single child in our community deserves a safe school, excellent teachers, and the opportunity to succeed. After nearly three decades in education, I have seen firsthand what works and what needs to be improved. That is why I decided to put my name on the ballot. I want to bring my practical experience, transparency, and a truly student-focused approach to the School Board. My commitment is to support our families, stand behind our teachers, and respect our taxpayers. I am ready to put my thirty years of experience to work to make our schools the very best they can be for all of us.
Our teachers are the backbone of our community, and right now, we are facing a crisis. I believe we must raise teacher pay in Pasco County. We are the tenth largest county in Florida out of sixty-seven, yet we have the eleventh lowest teacher pay in the entire state. Nationally, Florida ranks fiftieth out of fifty states in median teacher pay. This is simply unacceptable for our educators and our children. I am running to champion this issue and fight for the fair pay our teachers deserve. By supporting our educators, we invest in the future of our entire community, and I will make raising teacher pay a top priority.
